Women how would you feel?

Ok i was driving my my friend to the airport and she wasn't wearing her seat belt.so I reached over to put it on her. she asked what I was doing? I told her I was trying to get her seat belt.she asked why?i told her if i were to get in an accident if she got hurt it would kill me.so she put it on.what would you think if someone did that to you? the reason i'm asking is because this woman has been a friend of mine for about a year and i'm in love with her and I'm trying hard to make it known subtly.was a smooth move or a move?
