When to have baby shower and what to ask for?

1 or 2 mo. before the baby is due . This is a great idea , go to target or other dept. store that has registry's and tell them your having a shower.Go by and pick out every single thing you like , they will give you a little scanner , some large ticket items and some small. Don't want to look greedy and tell everyone where your registered then ANYTHING you get you already picked out . It's fun for your guests and you get exactly what you want ...the only way to go !
