What countries are further from the equator?

Countries farther from the equator. That would be the answer. The countries closest to the north and south poles, usually countries with very cold, arctic climates and lots of tundra. The north arctic lands of canada are like this. A lot of Greenland is, too. Also, some countries had claimed territory in Antarctica, cutting it up into little pieces. I believe they all decided to stop this, but I am not sure, so there may be countries still holding pieces of land in Antarctica.
